Negative – i respect that Adam has other needs that the average consumer, so that is OK, but there were lots of words and not much of a message embedded.

After listening to quite a number of your podcasts, I really feel you need to look for alternative guest for a number of future shows.

Signal to noise ratio – you did bring that point up in the show notes.

Perhaps a little more time actually investigating the software, and a little less time being bigoted about it Adam ?

You came to a section about switchers and I was rather annoyed when windows users or switchers were reffered to as impatient! I can remember getting my first Mac Mini just over a year ago and I loved it, now I’m no slouch as a computer user but the right click thing that was mentioned should be one that IS POINTED OUT to switchers especially if they are buying a MAc from an Apple Store, it IS NOT OBVIOUS for the average switcher, equally sitting in front of a keyboard thinking where on earth is the # key can be really annoying
So please don’t refer to switchers or windows switchers as impatient, as the ad says they “just want it to work”.

I really enjoyed this episode of MacNotables. It was great to hear you, Adam, and Tonya discuss the wide variety of subjects, and to see the three of you reacting to each other was a real treat.

It might have been a lot of work, but for me, your hard work paid off.

1) The previous 2 revisions of MacBook Pro also used LED backlighting – it’s not a unique feature of the new model;
2) If the battery life of the new model appeared to match or better that of his old model, it *might* have been due to him comparing a brand new vs. used battery. Macworld’s review of the new model shows it has a slightly lower battery life compared with the previous generation;
3) The Nvidia 9600 is faster than the previous model’s 8600, but the more energy efficient 9400 definitely is not. It would be good to know exactly which MacBook Pro model Bob currently uses because it doesn’t sound like the previous model with the 8600, which should have been able to play games pretty well.
