I have had DirecWay before Hughes Electric changed the name of the dish. In general it has worked fine except in bad weather conditions such as snow, heavy rain. A technician recommended spraying the dish with Pam once or twice a year. Snow can be brushed off. But if the outside cables become frayed, water can enter and short the system. That happened to me and it took several weeks and four visits by installer before the cable was replaced. A local radio station started streaming its broadcast, which works much better than FM reception which can bounce off surrounding mountains. There is some fluctuation in volume which may be due to how the radio station streams the broadcast. Downloading podcasts works fine. Uploading to a web site worked well. I would appreciate more comments on how Skype works with satellite. I could dial up and hear the person at the other end, but I could not be heard or my words were garbled.
