MacNotables #702: MacNotables on Stage at Macworld Expo #1
Posted by Chuck on January 15th, 2007
The MacNotables, as a group, presented several different sessions at Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco last week, and we are pleased to bring you this one from the Macworld Live stage in their booth on the show floor.
Recorded on Wednesday, Adam and Tonya Engst join Chuck Joiner to discuss what wasn’t announced in Steve Job’s keynote, speculation on the future product path the iPhone opens up, the occupational hazard of being a cynical journalist and more.

In this show, Tonya Engst mentions a syncing program. Did anyone get the name and/or website for it? It sounds interesting, I’d like to find out more about it.

Yep! It is The Missing Sync by Mark/Space. I just added a link to the show notes.

Thanks, Chuck! You helped me find it. But actually the one Tonya referred to is another product the company makes called SyncTogether. It’s not actually out yet. But it looks like it could provide a replacement for .Mac service if you only use .Mac for syncing. I wonder if it’ll also let you sync Yojimbo items and other 3rd party applications that have added .Mac functionality to their software. Definitely a product that’ll I’ll be keeping my eye on.
