Jim Dalrymple of Macworld has been working with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, and gives us some first impressions of favorite features, missing links and more. Jim discusses his surprise at finding Spaces useful, his disappointment in Time Machine’s lack of Network Attached Storage device support, the Mac Industry’s support of Leopard and his experimentation with portable Home Folders in Mac OS X Server. Upgrading to a new version of the OS is always a big step. Jim and Chuck talk about their recommendations for accomplishing it safely, and Jim wraps up with some comments on NBC’s latest announcement.
