Well, Adam's never been as good as a podcasting guy as he is as a writer and organizer. I guess I found it a bit irritating at first, too, but once I got into the mood I found myself laughing along. Although his view was certainly not a balanced one, I think he said some things to say about iWork that needed saying. Even if you don't agree that Apple is to blame, it's quite true that we're not seeing anything terribly innovative on that front, and things haven't really moved terribly far along in word processing since WordPerfect 3.1.

Chuck,
You should have disconnected AA's mike and sent him off to sober up or come down from the drugs. The worst show ever! I was embarrassed for you and the other guest. AA was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. He (and you) should realize that people actually listen to your podcast. Angst obviously doesn't have any regard or respect for himself, you, other guests, or the listening audience. I guess someone along his path of self destruction told him it was cute to act like an a**hole. I for one will not be listening to any more podcasts that involve him.

Chuck, that was the worst of your podcasts so far - and not your fault. The audio was bad, you were probably sharing a microphone in a room with a lot of echo, and Adams constant, silly giggling, made it hard to hear you as you were not allowed to finish your sentences.

Negative - i respect that Adam has other needs that the average consumer, so that is OK, but there were lots of words and not much of a message embedded.

After listening to quite a number of your podcasts, I really feel you need to look for alternative guest for a number of future shows.

Signal to noise ratio :-) - you did bring that point up in the show notes.

Well, enough of the critique , otherwise keep up the good work

Regards
Michael

Between the giggling and the ultra-negativity, that was a really annoying show. Informative but annoying.

Someone please inform Adam that it's perfectly possible to freeze headers and footers in Numbers, at least in '09.

Perhaps a little more time actually investigating the software, and a little less time being bigoted about it Adam ?
